NINTH WAVE

Winner of Restaurant of the Year Award 2015 and Best Restaurant Experience in Scotland 2016 by Visit Scotland this wee gem of a restaurant is located on the scenic Isle of Mull.

Succulent lobster, crab, langoustine, hand-dived scallops and fish are often caught only hours before appearing on your dinner plate. Owners John & Carla Lamont invite you to explore the menu, which changes daily, and is based on local game, organic meats & fishermen’s catches.

John, a Scottish fisherman, will not only catch your lobster and crab dinner on his traditional wooden boat the “Sonsie”, but will also be your waiter and wine steward for the evening.

The restaurant takes its name from Celtic Mythology, in which “the land of other-worldly delights” starts at the ninth wave. This spirit is reflected in both Ninth Wave’s eclectic style of cuisine and in an ethos where luxury meets sustainability.
